Eat a solid meal beforehand, stay well-hydrated, and go easy on caffeine. Please don’t arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If your tattoo is larger or you’re worried about discomfort, we’ll talk ahead of time about safe numbing options. There’s no need to shave the area before your appointment. You’re welcome to bring a support buddy if that feels helpful—just note that children and pets aren’t allowed in our studio space.

Most people are great candidates, and all ink colors and skin tones are welcome. That said, there are a few situations where it may not be the right time to start treatment. Things like pregnancy, certain health conditions, or if healing restrictions (like avoiding sun or water) aren’t possible right now.
If you have questions or concerns, bring them up during your consultation or reach out beforehand. We’re happy to talk it through.

Temporary side effects can include redness, swelling, tenderness, itching, or occasional blistering. Some people feel a little tired after treatment. These effects are normal and usually resolve with proper aftercare.

In many cases, yes. Most facial tattoos can be treated safely, though some cosmetic tattoos, like permanent eyeliner may require specialized equipment we don’t offer. We’ll review this during your consultation.
Have questions? We've got answers.
Every appointment starts with a conversation — your goals, your comfort, your pace. During the consultation, we will assess your tattoo’s location, depth, density and color to predict approximately how many treatments are expected for your tattoo fade or removal, and build a plan to make your progress fit into your lifestyle.
